Hello everyone! It’s Sunday night. Well, actually it’s really early Monday morning. I should be in bed, but because we have finals this week I’m up studying still. Not really though, I’m procrastinating. I decided to make a online blog because it would be a good way to keep in touch with family and friends this summer while I’m in France.
Most of you know the jist of my upcoming summer, but for those of you who don’t, I will be leaving a week from today to head off to Paris for the next 95 days. Three whole months!! I will be nannying for a French family with three kids. Salom (10-girl), Sasha (5-boy), and Noa (3-boy). The parents are Geraldine and David. Geraldine is a nurse and David works with tourism in Paris. I’m really excited about going for the next three months and even more excited to further my knowledge of the French language. I’m hoping to be completely fluent when I return to the states in August. I’ve been studying French for the past 8 years, so I do know a good bit of it already, but I’m still a little nervous about being completely immersed into it. I went to France in 2005 with my high school French class and loved everything about the country. (I know most people associate France with a bad stereotype, but not me!) Anyway, I don’t have too much to say right now other than the fact I’m dying on the inside with anticipation, excitement, and nervousness.

Yay Erin you are going to FRANCE!!!!!
Yay!!!
